Artist Statement

Taking the title of the 1955 pop hit by The Four Lads, this artwork seeks to combine the happy memories of the writer, Abstract Expressionism and various other elements from the 1950s, in a bid to capture a feeling of hope and optimism that is reminiscent of the era.
